A comprehensive health history is taken to begin with. This process includes pulse, tongue and face diagnosis to assess to state of your overall health. These diagnostic procedures are unique to Chinese medicine practice. Regions of your face where wrinkles and blemishes develop may be highly indicative of your body’s underlying imbalances.
Once the imbalances are established acupuncture points are needled on the face and body. Very fine needles are also inserted superficially along the wrinkle lines. The needles are kept in place for about 20 minutes.
When the needles are removed, a dermal roller or a light dermal hammer is used on certain areas of the face. Minimal discomfort is caused from this procedure, in fact it can be quite pleasant for most patients. Dermal rolling further enhances local blood circulation (doesn’t cause bleeding) and increases the absorption capability of the skin. This then allows maximal absorption of the nutrients contained within our own organic rosehip oil blend which is applied to the skin via a relaxing facial massage. Our organic rosehip blend assists greatly in the rejuvenation process of your skin.
A Chinese medicinal blend will be formulated specifically for you. You will be required to take this formula for 8 – 12 weeks. This will aid in rectifying the underlying imbalance at hand. The formula will comprise of either pills or granules depending on your needs or tolerances.
