The ability to express ourselves creatively helps us to understand what’s happening in our life. At times life can be difficult, painful and even confusing; Loretta will guide you through your life challenge enabling you to explore self-expression, as well as soul, mind, and body balance.
Using art materials in a particular form helps verbalise overwhelming emotions and feelings that are either from the past or in the present. Please be assured - artistic ability is irrelevant – the significance is in what the final image symbolises and represents for the person. Loretta will be by your side as you explore your life journey and assist you in utilising a range of tools in a safe environment.
With a particular interest in combining Art and Neuroscience, including a range of alternative therapies and practices, Loretta will draw upon a variety of modalities to assist the therapeutic process. Art Therapy combined with processes such as dreams, symbols and imagery, will enable the unconscious to come forth to the present moment, facilitating a renewed level of self-healing and well-being, this being the basis of Transpersonal work.
Having travelled extensively and spent considerable time living in a variety of cultures, including Italy, Chile and the tribal regions of Papua New Guinea, Loretta explored how art was used symbolically as a way for people to find meaning, authenticity, personal growth and empowerment in their life. Loretta brings a depth of knowledge and innate gift in connecting with people who seek to find a deeper realization and direction in their life.
